I’m just beginning Tarot card reading and I still don’t know to much about it. As a beginner I would have thought that The Wheel Of Fortune was a major wealth card. I think I can learn a lot from this blog.

  • Tarotdon says:

Hi Warren, the Wheel of Fortune does seem to suggest money doesn’t it?! It’s round like a coin, it invokes a roulette table, the word “fortune” itself conjours up visions of piles of money, and of course one thinks of whirling Lotto balls, or even Bingo balls. Notice these are games of chance: that’s the predominant meaning of The Wheel of Fortune. One imagines the Three Fates busy spinning out our destinies on their spinning wheels. However, the Wheel can signify a turn of fate or apparent chance in area of life depending on the question asked and the position of the card in a spread. Sometimes the turn of destiny is based upon previous decisions we have made, and often we can chance an “outcome” card by altering the dynamics of what the cards show us, especially if there is an “advice” card, but it’s the card which is the most likely to resist our will: perhaps a life lesson the Tarot is telling us we probably can’t avoid learning. It’s almost literally a ‘turn’ of events in some way and the end or beginning of a new revolution or cycle. Again, there is that suggestion of “round” in the words. Another card that can apply to finances is the Two of Pentacles – the little chap juggling Pentacles or coins.

  • Tarotdon says:

Sorry folks, that should read “any” area of life and “change” an outcome card, not “chance”. Never try to submit a comment on an iPhone when in bed at 1.30 am! If there is any device subject to the twists of fate and chance depicted by the Wheel of Fortune it’s the guessing games played by an iPhone. Actually, does anyone relate other pieces of technology to any of the cards? I read that the Eight of Wands can sometimes signify communication by email. The Tower would be when your entire system crashes. Maybe The Magician could be seen as having modern devices on his table. Quite a few if the cards suggest currents and electricity. It is more than feasible to ask the cards questions concerning technology. I’ve always loved the way the Tarot cards can be emblematic and connect to any historical era or specific cultural context.

When i will get the job?
    I Got Devil.
Its a negative card, but my ques was for timing.

How would I predict amounts to be received. I work with tarot, astrology and numerology?

    Thank you ,

    Kindest Regards,

    • Brigit says:

That’s not really my area of expertise, I’m afraid. Plus, with Tarot that can be very challenging to do. You would likely have better results with numerology or psychic abilities.

  • maud says:

I think the 6 of wands is a very good card for receiving money, in March gone, I’d had a flutter on 6 race horses, on an accumulator, n all 6 horses got placed, so had a nice little payout, previous to that, the 6 of wands kept appearing in the 2nd house of my gypsy card spread, storytelling this windfall, n I’d been looking for signs of wheel of fortune, so you would think would be more fitting to games of chance, but it’s the 6 of wands, that came up trumps for me,,, or maybe it was just my time to win , just thought I’d share it with you all x

  • Marina says:

You forgot Six of Pentacles which can indicate a financial windfall depending if the surrounding cards are positive as well.

  • aaa says:

Death next to the wheel of fortune means inheritance.

  • Peter` says:

The cards are vague and mysterious. *shrug*

  • Nicole says:
