In December 2017, you are being asked to release what is no longer serving you so that you can fully step into your potential and power. You may have psychic visions or intuitive hits this month – but it is up to you as to whether you pay attention or you ignore them. You may feel uncomfortable about what you're experiencing and may worry what others think, but ultimately, you need to come back to your inner wisdom and your true essence. This may be a good month to go on a vision quest, either in the traditional Shamanic way or in a more modernised way where you spend some time journalling around your true path.

Hi. I'm Brigit, Founder of Biddy Tarot, the online learning community for people who love to read Tarot and who want to connect with their intuition on a daily basis. I'm here with the Monthly Tarot Forecast for December 2017. As always, I'll be looking at the Blessings, the Challenges and the recommended Actions for you to make this a really great month.

The deck I've chosen for our forecast this month is the Healing Earth deck. Now, this is a really beautiful deck and quite a large one actually – 108 cards – from a lady Jodie here in Australia. The messages with this deck are very deep and soulful. I think you'll get a really good sense of them through the three cards that I have chosen for this month's forecast. So, let's get straight into it.

Before I get into these cards, you're going to notice that there are still some very strong recurring themes that we've seen over the last six months from the Monthly Tarot Forecast. We'll certainly pick up on them again this time.

BLESSINGS

Our Blessings for this month is the Ten of Crystals. Take a look at it upright. It's almost like someone doing a bit of a high jump but onto these sharp looking crystals. In the reversed position, this is a process that's happening internally.

So, what does it all mean? Well, this is another one of those cards that tells us we need to let go of the past. Even as this person is jumping over, she has got to fully surrender to that process and trust that she has lined herself up with the high jump. She has got to line herself up and fall over that pole and land.

It's the same in our lives. Where can you surrender even more and allow that releasing to really happen? There's a lot that is going on within you that needs to be released even further, just as you've been doing over these last six months as well.

CHALLENGES

The Challenges are represented with the Grandmother of Crystals. Take a look: She's got four crystals around her in the north, south, east and west. Now, these Crystals demonstrate that this Grandmother of Crystals is very connected to her intuition, and she is connected to the realm that is way beyond just what is in our physical realm. She has sight (as in clairvoyance), and she is able to see beyond just this physical realm.

Now, as a Challenge, this is what might be happening for you. You might be having a sense that there is something a lot more in this world, but you may not be able to put your finger on exactly what that feeling is or what to do with it. Maybe you're also having what feels like psychic or intuitive visions, but you're shutting them down because you're afraid of what other people might think of you. Maybe you've got that gut feeling that you need to be doing something different in your life, but you're just shutting it down because it's too “out there” for you right now.

So, your opportunity here is to connect with that more and say yes to it. We've got here this surrendering card (Ten of Crystals). How can you surrender and fall into it instead of resisting it? There might be parts of your life right now that actually could be cleared away so that more of this positive energy can come through so that you can also connect with your intuition and bring it more into your life.

ACTIONS

Now, the final card is the recommended Actions. For this, we have the Grandfather of Feathers in the reversed position. Take a look here: This is a native American shaman. If you know much about shamanic traditions, it's very much about answering that call from the great spirit, following your truth and really being open to the guidance that is being presented to you.

This can actually speak very much about going on a vision quest. Now, of course, there is a very traditional vision quest, which is going out into the wilderness for four days and fasting and experiencing what you need to experience. Or it might be more of an urban vision quest, where you're just taking some time out to go deeper into your soul and to truly ask yourself, “Why am I here? What is it that I am here to do? What is the universe asking me to do? How can I honour that?” Again, a very strong theme that comes up over these Monthly Forecasts is “How can I honour my truth? How can I be of service in this universe, this lifetime? What is my calling?” If you have a calling around your intuition and going beyond what's in front of you, then listen to it. I can't tell you how powerful it is when you do open up and listen to your intuition. Again, we have that message coming through the cards.

What is it that you need to release and surrender into? How can you open yourself up to these psychic visions, intuition, reading between the lines, feeling your way through things? Finally, is there some kind of vision quest that you can go on so that you can find that true calling and honour that true calling? Quite a powerful month in December. In between all of your Christmas shopping and end-of-year activities, I really want you to be able to honour what's going on within you because we can get carried away with our busy-ness, but what's really important is that we're staying connected to our inner truth and wisdom because that is the true essence of what guides us through life.
