Weekly Tarot Card (Mar 1) – Ace of Cups
The card drawn for this week is the Ace of Cups.
In the Rider Waite deck, the Ace of Cups shows a hand holding a cup. From this cup, water overflows, spreading itself to all who are around it. Above the cup is a dove, indicating pure love and peace. This is a card of emotion, feeling, and spirituality.
The Ace of Cups represents the feeling of when we are about to burst with all our overflowing emotions, whether it be with complete laughter or tears. Sometimes you get so excited you could bounce around the house screaming out in ecstasy. Or sometimes the pain surrounding you is so great that all you can do is burst into tears.
There is also a great deal of love in this card, coupled with overflowing emotions. This relates especially to being in love and feeling butterflies in your stomach. You don’t necessarily have to be in a new relationship – even after 50 years together you may feel you are still in love with your partner!
This week expect to feel great about your relationships with others, especially with a romantic partner. This love is pure and peaceful. You may also be feeling highly emotionally, tipping the scale back and forth between immense happiness, to deep sadness.
